Guideline Presentation+ WF

The first generation Presentation WF came in 2002 and has been a bestseller for many years. Originally designed for trout anglers who like to fish small and intimate waters, where careful presentations and discretion are more important than long casts. At the same time, the Presentation WF is a great all-round line that is easy to cast for all users and performs superbly at distances up to just over 20 metres. When fishing tight spots with no room for back casts, this line outperforms other models with longer clumps. You can carry less line off the tip and shoot farther with a Presentation WF.Having much of the weight at the back of the clump also makes it a perfect line for all types of casts that start from the water, such as spey and switch casts. Presentation is a fast line due to its short back taper and compressed clump. The long front taper provides a smooth transition of speed to the leader which makes it it presents the fly nicely when dry fly fishing with normal or long leaders. In the #5 and #6 class, it has enough power to cast some heavier nymphs as well as streamers.On this new generation of the line called Presentation+ we have improved the versatility even more by increasing the thickness of the action and shooting line. This helps to balance the rollover and give the line a more balanced flight in the air. It also gives you the ability to work with even more line than the actual blob length outside the tip of the spear when casting. Presentation+ provides better balance and stability in the line bows and you won’t get that “hinge effect” that is common on lines with short clumps.The length-to-weight ratio of the clump on this line is carefully chosen to give the line enough power and speed to load the ghost well and turn over larger and bushy flies. This line taper works well on windy days and will be less affected than a longer clump with the weight distributed over its entire length. The short clump offers great opportunities to perform various presentation casts and speed changes. Despite the small line diameter, this line floats well and the smooth and slick coating improves performance and reduces memory issues even on cold days.The line is built around a braided multifilament core with well-balanced longitudinal stretch. There are small, smooth factory-made welded loops at the front and back of the lanyard and a laser ID marking near the tip. Both the box and spool are environmentally friendly and recyclable. The colour of the bobbin is Pale Greyish Gold and the sliding line has a subtle Cool Grey tone.
